Supporting Veterans at Jigsaw Notions
Jigsaw Notions is a sovereign, veteran-run Australian company committed to supporting current and former members of the Australian Defence Force, including Reservists, as they transition into and progress within civilian employment.
We recognise the leadership, discipline and technical capability developed through military service. Our recruitment processes are capability-based and designed to assess transferable skills fairly, supported by guidance for hiring managers on Defence structures and terminology. We actively encourage applications from veterans and provide constructive feedback to support successful transition into civilian roles.
Veteran employees are supported through structured onboarding, tailored transition assistance and access to mentoring, ideally with experienced Defence personnel. Career development pathways, certification support and progression planning are incorporated into performance discussions.
We support employees who continue to serve as ADF Reservists by providing reasonable flexibility in line with legislative obligations. National commemorative events such as ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day are recognised and supported.
